This will upgrade your printer’s firmware.
Click the Firmware tab and click Select > Download. Click the Drivers & Downloads tab and then select your OS. Open a browser and go to the official Canon site. Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable. The steps to update the printer firmware are as follows. To update the printer firmware, you can download the latest firmware from the official Canon pixma ts3100 setup site. When the head alignment is complete, the ON light will be lit on the printer.

Place the document on your printer’s scanner glass. Confirm that the Canon Pixma TS3100 printer is switched on. To perform scanning operation on your canon pixma ts3100 setup printer with the help of IJ Scan Utility, follow the instructions below. Click the OK button and the scan will begin. Similarly, set the other scan settings like File Name, Data Format, etc. In the Settings window, go to the Save Settings section and choose the destination to save the scanned document in the Save in drop-down menu. Close the document cover on the printer and open the Canon IJ Scan Utility on the computer. Lift the document cover on the printer and place the original document on the scanner glass. Turn on your printer and the computer connected to it. Use the quick steps if you want to scan to computer. You can scan a document placed on your printer’s scanner glass using the IJ Scan Utility or the Scan Gear application installed on your computer. Choose the scan mode, then click Settings and make the required scan settings. Open the Canon IJ Scan Utility on the computer. Place the document on the scanner glass. Make sure the Canon pixma ts3100 setup scanning software (IJ Scan Utility) is installed on the computer connected to the printer. Check if the printer is connected to the computer.
